Welcome to the SIRIUS Lab

The SIRIUS Lab is a research team at the University of Glasgow’s GIST Research Section. Our team adopts a human-centered approach to design, implement and evaluate Secure and prIvacy RespectIng Ubiquitous Systems. The team continues to make significant contributions to Human-Computer Interaction, Usable Privacy and Security, UbiComp and Privacy and Security in Mixed Reality. We regularly publish at ACM CHI, IMWUT/UbiComp, TOCHI and other top HCI, ubicomp and security venues. Our work is funded by Facebook Reality Labs, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), Royal Society of Edinburgh, the PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity, and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)

We are located at University of Glasgow, and are part of the GIST research section, which is one of the world leading HCI groups.
